Mercedes confirma apresentação de AMG GLB e novo elétrico em setembro

Um crossover esportivo e o novo carro da linha EQ serão mostrados no Salão de Frankfurt

A Mercedes-Benz apresentou o GLB em junho, como um crossover com capacidade para até sete sete pessoas. E ele já vai ganhar uma variante esportiva feita pela Mercedes-AMG, pois a fabricante confirmou que será uma de suas novidades para o Salão de Frankfurt (Alemanha), em setembro.

Segundo a fabricante, o evento em Frankfurt será o momento para introduzir o GLB "ao mundo do desempenho da Mercedes-AMG." Parece promissor. No entanto, ainda não sabemos se será logo a versão topo de linha AMG GLB 45 que apareceu em testes recentemente, ou se será o AMG 35 com um motor mais manso do que o 45 - quem sabe não revelem até as duas variantes.

Se for o AMG GLB 35, ele pode adotar o mesmo motor 2.0 turbo do A35, com cerca de 306 cv de potência. Já o AMG GLB 45 deve usar elevaria a potência deste motor para mais de 400 cv. Uma possibilidade é que se aproxime dos 421 cv do A45 S. O GLB normal conta com o 2.0 turbo de 223 cv e 35,7 kgfm de torque, o suficiente para acelerar até 96 km/h em 6,9 segundos. Tem tração integral e câmbio de dupla embreagem e 8 marchas. Será vendido nas versões 250 e 250 4Matic.

Só que o GLB AMG não será o único modelo que a Mercedes mostrará em Frankfurt. Outra promessa será um novo conceito para sua linha de carros elétricos EQ. A marca diz que ele "personifica a visão flexível, sustentável e ditada pelos clientes" da marca - acreditamos que será o protótipo do EQS, que já apareceu em testes. Por fim, a fabricante ainda mostrará versões híbridas plug-in de seus veículos atuais, sem especificar quais serão.

O Salão de Frankfurt 2019 abrirá as portas para o público no dia 12 de setembro.
